Active user testing found that most use would come from people checking their progress as they work out. To be there directly for users, a decision was made to go mobile, and a full-featured mobile app is now available on Google Play & the App Store.
As trainers, these devices, and the technology that powers and connects them to their users, gives us unprecedented insight into our audience. In a very real and measurable way, it gives us the ability to actually be better at our jobs.
The execution of this project, like all 4th Source projects, was tracked with data to show the return. FX Well extends that visibility to people wanting to make incremental changes to improve their health. Anyone can see how they have progressed and get an idea of where to focus their next fitness effort.

We put ourselves in users' (running) shoes, becoming testers of the platform ourselves. It's not often that you get so far into use case testing that you're working out alongside your customer to test the system. How deeply committed are your tech partners?
One of the most important KPI's was to be cost conscious. Our project bid was 40% lower than a larger global IT firm. The hybrid US-Mexico sourcing model kept costs down while delivering on all mandates.
